WHAT? (What did we learn?)
- Maintaining Cyber Security - any measure or procedure established to prevent, cope with, and mitigate the risk of Cyber Threats.
- Cyber Threats - any action or unlawful undertaking by using the computer, computer system, or undesirable program with the intention to cause any harm to them.
What is CIA Triad?
- Confidentiality - information is not made available or disclosed to unauthorized.
- Integrity- data cannot be modified in an unauthorized or undetected.
- Availability - must be available when it is needed and the communication channels used to access it must be functioning correctly.
- Cyber Crime - a crime that involves a computer and a network.
- Hacktivism - the use of technology to promote a political agenda or a social change.
1. Stick passwords on desktop
2. Let others know your password
3. Use common passwords (check your password here)
4. Never run a virus scan
5. Leave the door screen open6. Accessing risky websites
7. Using pirated software
SO WHAT? (Why is this important?)
This is important for our daily life because nowadays Thai people use almost more than 9 hours of daily time using the internet. If you got some Cyber Threats it is sure you will get a large problem. So, it would be better for everyone to have cyber security awareness like you have fences and close your house window so that you will be safer.NOW WHAT? (implications / reflections)
This class makes me be more careful when I am using the internet. So, that my personal information in computer will be safer.
